PeopleNet, a Trimble company and provider of fleet mobility technology, announced that it has added six employees to its roster of 34 Certified Transportation Professionals (CTPs) at the graduation ceremony at the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Education Management Conference and Exhibition being held in Cincinnati, April 13-15.
In making the announcement, Rick Ochsendorf, PeopleNet senior vice president of operations, said “our newest group of CTPs is now part of an exceptionally knowledgeable community of trucking professionals whose contributions are essential in meeting the needs of private fleets.”
Gary Petty, NPTC president and CEO, explained that PeopleNet continues its staunch support of this program with more CTPs than any other member organization. “PeopleNet’s 34 CTPs demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to understanding the needs of private fleets and helping them meet their challenges. Open to both Fleet and Allied members, CTP is the first step in a continuous journey to build a core of professionals who are setting standards for private fleets’ operations management.”
The six new PeopleNet CTPs are:
- Scott Groff, Manager of Customer Management
- Adam Crossno, Senior Customer Manager
- Kelly Eshleman, Senior Customer Manager
- Tim Prochaska, Project Manager
- Jessica Lodermeier, Project Manager
- Dave Durr, Regional Account Manager
NPTC is the only source of private-fleet training courses that are integral to earning CTP accreditation. The program is sponsored by the NPTC Institute, which provides training and certification programs that advance the professional skills and knowledge of all NPTC members. In order to maintain their designation, CTPs are required to support the program through continuing education and volunteer activities, such as attending and speaking at seminars and grading exams.
