Accuride Corp.’s Accu-Armor aluminum wheel from its Accuride Wheels business unit undergo a proprietary multistep post-production treatment process that texturizes, anodizes and seals the surface without changing or compromising the wheels’ original form, fit or function, helping them resist scratching and scuffing, filiform corrosion, high- and low-pH chemicals commonly used in truck washes, and common chemicals used in de-icing road surfaces.

The process also helps make the wheels more durable under extended exposure to heat and ultraviolet light while also impeding chalking or fading and making them easier to clean with less maintenance, leading to an attractive, distinctive appearance.
