Ancra International, a provider of cargo restraint systems and related components and assemblies, announced the hiring of Larry Bethel as director of purchasing and planning, and Jeff Murillo as manager of business development.

Before coming to Ancra, Bethel held director-level roles in supply chain management with companies such as Assembly Test Worldwide, Hill-Rom, Harris Broadcast, General Electric and Ferguson Enterprises.

“Larry’s nearly 20 years of purchasing and materials management experience including 10 years at the director level will be critical as the Ancra Group continues to grow and works to identify ways to maximize our purchasing dollars and streamline our supply chain management processes,” says Tom Leone, vice president and general manager.

Murillo served as a U.S. Army Sergeant in the Persian Gulf and Germany and also brings nearly 20 years of cargo control experience to the Ancra team. His work history includes experience with heavy-duty suppliers such as Premier Manufacturing, Morgan Corp. and Aurora parts, and most notably 12 years with Utility Trailer.

“We are pleased to add Jeff’s industry experience to the Ancra team as well as his past demonstrated leadership in our Industry,” says Mark Daugherty, vice president of human resources and general manager of S-Line.
