Bestpass, a provider of bulk purchasing and streamlined toll management services to commercial fleets, announced that beginning August 16, 2014 Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC)-managed bridges, including the Rainbow, Whirlpool, and Lewiston-Queenston international bridges, are now part of the Bestpass toll service.

The expansion of the Bestpass toll network is the result of the recent implementation of the E-ZPass tolling program by the NFBC.

“The addition of NFBC tolls to the E-ZPass network will further streamline toll management for our customers using those border crossings,” said John Andrews, president and COO of Bestpass. “These additional tolling locations are the latest in our ongoing expansion of partnerships with highway and toll authorities, and as we continue to expand we are expecting more key additions to the Bestpass service network in the upcoming months.”

The new addition to the Bestpass network means that the growing number of trucking operations that are using the company’s toll management and discount services, from owner-operators to some of the country’s largest fleets, can automatically use their existing Bestpass transponders at NFBC bridges. Additionally, any service related issues at NFBC tolls can now be handled by the Bestpass service center.

Bestpass customers with ExpressPass, ExpressPass Commercial, and NEXUS cards can cancel their accounts. Information on refunds is available by accessing the Electronic Toll tab at http://www.niagarafallsbridges.com.

Bestpass uses its bulk purchasing power to provide commercial motor carriers with savings beyond standard toll charge discounts. The company also provides account management tools, consolidated billing, and a single transponder for both toll and weigh station bypass. To date, Bestpass says it has provided customers with $30 million in toll cost savings.
