CarrierWeb expands sales team to accomodate growth

CarrierWeb, a trucking mobile communications provider, announced recent growth in its sales team to accommodate new client opportunities.

“As the transportation industry continues to seek technology that improves their operational efficiency, safety, compliance and driver satisfaction, we continue to experience a growth in new business,” said George Dunn, vice president of sales and marketing.

CarrierWeb has hired:

Susan Vaughn as senior account manager. Vaughn has over 20 years in the transportation industry in areas ranging from freight matching services to telematics. In her role she will be focusing on assisting companies with compliance and safety needs through the efficient use of real-time data for management by exception.

Jerry Bell as director of sales and national accounts. Bell brings 23 years of trucking industry experience to the firm, 12 of which were spent working within carriers such as Conway and Dart Transit. Most recently he worked for McLeod Software. Bell will handle the compliance and safety needs of national fleets with a full-range of products including Elogs, Hours of Service, trailer tracking and others.

Bryan Stefan as director of sales. Stefan has over 10 years in telematics and fuel management. In his role he will help new customers maximize the use of their mobile communications information to manage fuel costs, use visual dashboards to analyze fleet performance and find ways to operate more efficiently in safety, compliance and driver satisfaction.
