CCJ Solutions Summit to offer sessions on improving business practices

Fleet managers interested in improving their business practices will have several opportunities to learn how in breakout sessions focusing on compliance, drivers and customers at the CCJ Solutions Summit.

The event, formerly the CCJ Fall Symposium, is scheduled for Nov. 13-15 and will be held in Palm Springs, Calif., at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa, outside Los Angeles.

On the compliance track, fleet managers can attend a business-related breakout session on how regulations affect the bottom line and how how to avoid regulatory pitfalls. 

Another business segment at the Solutions Summit will focus on trends in driver pay, including recent increases in driver wages and how various payment structures work.

Finally, on the customer track, there will be two business-related breakout sessions – one on getting the most out of freight contracts, and another on limiting detention time. The “Gaining the Upper Hand” session will touch on capacity and rates. It will offer tips on how to get the most out of freight contracts in 2018.

The other customer-focused business breakout on detention time will key in on working with customers to reduce detention time in order to maximize productivity and profitability.

Solutions Summit will also offer attendees the chance to participate in breakout sessions dealing with equipment and technology, also focusing on compliance, drivers and customers. More on the sessions and events offered during the Summit, including a schedule, can be found here.
