Go Logistics is a refrigerated hauler serving the East and Gulf Coast markets. Looking to stand out to customers in the seafood industry that it serves, company president Kyle Gray decided to apply his marketing budget to these eye-catching trailer graphics that feature the bull mahi-mahi. The company soon will add trailers featuring other regional fish, including the hogfish snapper.

“We weren’t going to get a billboard or radio ad, so we though if we spent our ad budget on trailers, it would catch people’s eyes,” says Gray. “It is advertising in the area we want to be when delivering and picking up. We wanted vivid colors.”

The metal tear-away on the rear of the trailers reveals the bull mahi-mahi swimming in an ocean inside the trailer to reinforce the freshness concept.

Why we liked it: “Go Logistics’ ‘tearing’ effect on the sides and back of the trailer makes it stand out – along with the huge fish popping out of the back – but the 3-D effect of the water and the fish on the sides of the trailer really make creative use of the trailer and set it apart from the pack.” – James Jaillet, CCJ news editor

About CCJ’s Five Flashiest Fleets:

Fleet graphics can say a lot about a company. Whether they serve to promote brand image or a specific product, many carriers turn to truck and trailer wraps to stand out in the crowd. And as the trucking industry pushes to revive its reputation, these images can help fleets better relate to the motoring public and present a professional look to their customers.

Since 1978, CCJ has been proud to recognize excellence in fleet graphics design and execution. The judges for this year’s competition included the editorial and art design staff from CCJ and sister magazines Overdrive and Successful Dealer. Each judge ranked their top 10 out of 52 submissions, and scores were weighted to determine a final ranking.
