Celadon Group has been named to “The Indianapolis Star Top Workplaces” list of the best places to work in Central Indiana for 2014. Well over 100 companies participated in the program and Celadon earned in the large business category for the fifth time in the past six years.
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based solely upon feedback from a confidential employee survey covering six areas of the workplace that impact overall workplace satisfaction. Values and strategy, communication, career opportunities, atmosphere, managerial quality and pay and benefits were areas included in the survey.
“Becoming an employer of choice is something we strive hard to achieve and it’s gratifying to hear directly from our employees that we are accomplishing our objective,” said Paul Will, president and CEO.
Celadon Group currently employs more than 600 people in Central Indiana, including a growing number at the new Celadon Driver Training Center which opened earlier this year near its Indianapolis headquarters.
