As part of its America’s Natural Gas Highway initiative, Clean Energy announced the opening of two liquefied natural gas fueling stations in Pontoon Beach, Ill., and Fontana, Calif. The company also announced it has opened its first LNG fueling station in Jacksonville, Fla. The publicly available Jacksonville facility will be used by Raven Transport and UPS.

“Opening the first LNG station in Florida marks an important step forward in the use of natural gas as a transportation fuel in the Sunshine State,” says Greg Roche, vice president, national accounts, Clean Energy. “Jacksonville is leading the way in high horsepower applications for LNG fuel use and we’re committed to meeting the growing LNG demand in the region.”
