“With a comprehensive tracking system and up-to-date legal content and trainings, reliable workflow and documentation, fleets can proactively decrease the frequency and severity of issues in their employment practices and other areas of risk,” said Nick Goodell, general manager, trucking and transportation for Compli.

Many insurers have a list of approved companies that offer specialized services designed to help their customers develop risk management systems, Goodell said.

Kool Pak, an asset-based provider of refrigerated warehousing, transportation, distribution and logistics services throughout the United States and Canada, received an initial 5 percent discount on its insurance premiums six months after purchasing Compli, said Wade Palmer, chief financial officer.

Kook Pak, which operates 90 trucks, now is planning to use Compli to earn additional insurance savings; the company will implement a new wellness module aimed at its health insurance premiums. Compli will push out training to employees automatically and monitor and report on their progress toward their goals, Palmer said.
