Dot Transportation recently awarded transport refrigeration system manufacturer Thermo King and dealer Capital City Thermo King with its 2011 Vendor of the Year Award at its 2012 vendor golf outing at Rolling Greens Golf Course.

This is the third time the Thermo King duo has been awarded the Vendor of the Year award from Dot over the past 12 years in recognition of its product quality and reliability, ability to process large quantities of equipment, low maintenance and repair expenses and strong knowledge of Dot operations to provide solutions and make improvements.

“Thermo King continues to be one of our most reliable and efficient vendors,” said Kevin Buss, director of fleet maintenance at Mt. Sterling, Ill.-based Dot. “Any time we need service support, they’re right on top of things. It’s a great product that they stand behind.”
