The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee will hold its third meeting Feb. 5-6 from 8:30 to 5 p.m. at the Hilton Alexandria Old town in Alexandria, Va in the Washington and Jefferson Rooms. The meeting will be open to the public and will have a public comment period at the end of each day.

The advisory committee is still only months old, established in the fall of 2012 at the request of FMCSA to provide an ongoing series of reports about what the agency’s priorities should be relative to CSA. Its first meeting was in October and its second was in December.

MCSAC has not yet released an agenda or task statement for the meeting, but oral comments from the public can be made at the meeting itself or submitted via the Federal eRulemaking Portal at regulations.gov. Comments can also be made via fax — 202-493-2251 — or via postal service to the Docket Management Facility; U.S. Department of Transportation, 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE., West Building, Room W12-140, Washington, D.C. 20590.

All forms of submission must use docket number FMCSA-2006-26367.
