FinditParts hits corporate milestones

FinditParts celebrated multiple corporate milestones on Wednesday, announcing it has completed its sixth consecutive quarter with double-digit growth and now has six million parts cataloged on its website.

“When we were first launched, with our suppliers it was very difficult to get people to play along with us,” says David Seewack, founder and CEO. “But as we’ve been growing and going to market more and more suppliers are interested in our business. They’ve been coming to us.”

In addition to its quarterly success, the company also claims a 40 percent year-to-date increase in monthly order volumes and says more than 50 percent of all revenue now comes from repeat customers.

The booming sales totals are inverse to what’s been on display in other areas of the aftermarket, where sales are sluggish or down.

“Suppliers are saying how we’re up and most [distributors] are down,” says Seewack, who attributes the company’s growing catalog and its global capabilities as factors that have kept it out of the downturn.

“We’re not geographically driven, or impacted by oil and gas,” he says. “We sell nationally and globally.”

On the latter point, he says the company has shipped parts to more than 200 companies since opening in 2010.

Looking ahead, Seewack says the FinditParts’ team gives him optimism that the company can continue its growth.

“I’m inspired by the progress we’ve made so far this year and I’m incredibly proud of the dedicated team we’ve assembled to execute our vision to elevate the experience and efficiency of buying heavy duty truck and trailer parts,” he says.
