The American Trucking Associations will host the first ATA Economic Summit this summer to bring together economists and trucking company managers for an outlook on the state of the economy and more.

The Summit will be held July 20 at the Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, Va. ATA says attendees will have the opportunity to gain perspective on the economy and forecasts in the supply chain to help plan their fleet’s futures.

“We know trucking is the backbone of the supply chain,” says ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello, “and with this summit, we want to bring together experts from other adjacent industries to explore the state of the economy and trends that impact trucking and the U.S. economy at large.”
