GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services has been awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for the sixth consecutive year.

ASE, a certification program for automotive professionals, awards the Blue Seal of Excellence to businesses that maintain a staff certification level of at least 75 percent and certification across all service categories.

“Our customers tell us that their number one requirement for their maintenance management program is to ensure the right repairs are done at the right time and most importantly at the right price,” said Anna Durham, general manager of maintenance and safety solutions. “ASE certification is one of the ways we assure our customers that we meet this requirement. With six consecutive years of ASE Blue Seal of Excellence recognition, along with an average of 19 years of industry experience, our advisers combine their technical expertise with best-in-class customer service to meet our customers’ needs.”

In addition to active participation in the ASE certification program, Fleet Services also runs a training resource center equipped with the latest technology to help advisers stay up to date on model changes, design and repair trends, and new legislation — all to provide customers with informed maintenance recommendations.

Certified professionals are technical advisers who have passed one or more of ASE’s 40-plus exams and have provided proof of two years of relevant work experience. To maintain ASE certification, advisers must be retested every five years.
