Heniff Transportation acquires Texas-based EZ Alternative Transport

Heniff Transportation Systems, headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., has acquired Nederland, Texas-based EZ Alternative Transport, Heniff announced Tuesday, Jan. 12.

EZ Alternative Transport is a bulk chemical hauler in eastern Texas. The current management and driver teams will transition to Heniff Transportation Systems.

The acquisition expands Heniff’s footprint in the gulf coast to more than 200 trucks and gives the company 14 terminals across the Midwest, Northeast, Central, South and Southeastern United States
