Espar Heater Systems introduced the Airtronic D2 and D4 air heaters to replace Espar’s current model of air heaters, the Compact D1LC and D3LC.

The two new diesel-powered heaters have important innovations and special technical features over their predecessors. The Airtronic heaters are significantly lighter and smaller. They are the most compact and powerful heaters in its class, the company says. The two heaters have a performance of 2.2 KW (7,500 BTU/hr) and 4.0 KW (13,650 BTU/hr) respectively. The Airtronic models weigh 21 percent less than the Compact heaters. Airtronic heaters have fewer parts: components have been reduced to 35 parts from 55 parts. A new quick release top cover provides easy access for maintenance.

All auxiliary parts for the Compact heaters can be used with the new Airtronic heaters, the company says.
