J.J. Keller adds FourKites tracking to Encompass fleet management system

J. Keller & Associates, Inc. and FourKites announced an integration that will allow customer GPS information to be communicated between J. J. Keller’s Encompass Fleet Management System with ELogs and the FourKites tracking platform.

The integration will provide the premium edition Encompass customer with GPS data on active loads every 15 minutes from pickup to delivery in the FourKites tracking platform. Both companies said the benefits of the integration are improved multimodal load visibility to reduce overall costs associated with check calls, detention time, and resource allocation.

“Our integration with FourKites allows our shared customers the ability to navigate with geo-fencing capabilities, making fleet dispatch and tracking more fluid,” said Tom Reader, director of marketing for
J. J. Keller & Associates. “Consequently, we’re making it easier for customers to improve overall transportation management within their fleets, while helping them prepare for the mandate and meet Hours of Service requirements.”
