Lite Check introduces tablet-based trailer diagnostic system at TMC

Lite Check’s new, tablet-based Verifier 1010 trailer diagnostic system has completed six months worth of field-testing with U.S. fleets and is now available for purchase. The company made that announcement at the TMC Show in Nashville, TN.

Lite Check president Bob Blair noted that with the new Verifier 1010, he believed a fleet goal of reducing trailer maintenance costs by 20 percent was attainable in fleet operations. The new table, which Lite Check is showcasing at its TMC booth, allows fleet managers to organically developed apps based on trailer OEM. model and type. This information, combined with application, allows fleet managers to set up a highly-customized maintenance and preventative check program for all major trailer operating systems, including air brakes, lights, ABS and rollover stability systems. The results, Blair says, are consistent with previous Lite Check diagnostic systems: faster, more accurate trailer checks and repairs, along with a lower-incidence of parts being incorrectly diagnosed as malfunctioning and unnecessary replacement costs.
