Love’s Travel Stops has opened its first fast-fill compressed natural gas (CNG) station for heavy-duty trucks in Dallas, the company’s fifth such station in the Texas Triangle. Three more Love’s fast-fill CNG locations are scheduled to open in additional areas to complete the Texas Triangle.
“The availability of CNG at another travel stop along the Texas Triangle between Dallas, Houston and San Antonio gives professional drivers and leisure travelers more fueling options,” said Jenny Love Meyer, Love’s vice president of communications. “By introducing the fueling alternative at this location and others, travel between these three cities and beyond is feasible using CNG.”
Love’s Fast-Fill CNG offers a fill rate of greater than 10 gallons per minute, meaning a driver can fill a 100 gallon equivalent tank in 10 minutes or less.
