Minorplanet Systems USA (www.minorplanetusa.com), a provider of telematics-based fleet management solutions, entered into a wireless agent agreement for Global Systems for Mobile Communications (GSM) service with Cingular Wireless. The agreement provides Minorplanet with an additional GSM wireless partner, said Jana Ahlfinger Bell, Minorplanet president. Previously, Minorplanet had been exclusively reselling cellular airtime to customers; now, the customer relationship will be directly with the wireless carrier.
