A Mississippi-based Volvo and Mack truck dealer has announced its acquisition of three dealerships in Louisiana, doubling the size of its current operation.
Old River Truck Sales, headquartered in Richland, Miss., bought locations in Lake Charles, St. Rose and Breaux Bridge, adding more than 115,500 square feet and approximately 25 technicians. Old River already had locations in Laurel, Miss., and Baton Rouge, La.
Lee White, president of Old River, started the business in 1982 at age 19, and in 2001 he opened Old River Volvo.
