NationaLease announced the winners of its second annual Tech Challenge, a national competition of technicians within its network of 175 independent full-service truck leasing companies throughout North America. The top three winning technicians will compete in the TMC SuperTech Competition this September and will represent NationaLease.

Taking top honor is Bob Mrzyglod of Aim NationaLease, Girard, Ohio. Coming in as first runner-up is Scott Wilson of Florida Truck Leasing, a NationaLease Developing Member, Apopka, Fla., and the second runner-up is Aaron Tucker, Hogan Truck Leasing, a NationaLease Member, St. Louis.

NationaLease first tested technicians from the across the country in an earlier written knowledge exam. From there, the organization brought in the top regional winners to the Michelin Training Center in Greenville, S.C., during the NationaLease Spring Maintenance Managers Meeting this May to compete in the hands-on portion of the competition. There, they competed in stations that included starting and charging, electrical, brakes, wheel ends, HVAC, engine diagnostics, electronic information and PMI.

The three winners of the competition were saluted at an awards dinner at the NationaLease meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville. All three were presented with awards and prizes provided by NationaLease and several of its suppliers.
