Paragon Software Systems, a niche software company focused on vehicle routing and scheduling, announced continued expansion in the U.S. market with new sales increasing 63 percent in 2010 and 81 percent to date.

“Our performance over the last 24 months has been very strong,” stated William Salter, president and CEO of Paragon Software Systems. “Our customers are telling us that it is not just the rising cost of fuel and overall economic pressures that are forcing them to look at the best ways to reduce operating costs, but they are also being asked to significantly improve their service offerings.”

In the last two years Paragon has installed its routing and scheduling system for a wide range of U.S. manufacturing, retail and food distributors, including Heritage Environmental Services, The Dufresne Group, Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc, Rogers Communications, General Air, and McEntire Produce.

Paragon says its routing, scheduling and transportation optimization software is used by a wide range of industry sectors and operation types.  Paragon’s configurable software includes functionality for daily route planning, strategic analysis and modeling, fixed route management, and home delivery scheduling.
