Performance Food Group selected the CarrierMate and ReeferMate products from CarrierWebCarrierWeb announced that PFG Customized Distribution, a division of Performance Food Group Company (PFG), has selected its truck mobile communications and of reefer command and control systems.
The CarrierWeb CarrierMate system will facilitate managing mobile assets and driver hours of service at the nine locations of PFG Customized Distribution across the USA, in compliance with the recently introduced Electronic Logging Device mandate.
The CarrierWeb ReeferMate will allow remote monitoring and management in compliance with the Sanitary Transportation of Food portion of the Food Safety Modernization Act, which becomes fully effective in March 2016.
Donnie Bain, senior vice president of business units at PFG Customized Distribution, noted they had chosen CarrierWeb after an evaluation of multiple solutions because of the ease of deployment and ability of CarrierWeb to customize the system based on PFG’s operational and strategic growth needs.
