Pegasus TransTech has introduced Transflo DMS, a cloud-based version of its Transflo document management and workflow system.

Transflo DMS speeds the delivery-to-cash cycle, saves time, and improves operating efficiency for any size carrier. It also boosts productivity and automates business processes such as accounts payable and receivable, vehicle maintenance and recruiting, the company says.

Transflo DMS is a cloud-based solution bolstered by redundant data centers, configured for 24/7 processing.

“Cloud computing has gained wide acceptance in the business world and with good reason,” said Bob Helms, chairman and CEO of Pegasus TransTech. “The day of the big, disruptive implementation and ongoing IT hardware expense is passing. Agile, forward-looking companies of all sizes have reduced costs, streamlined corporate structure, and increased productivity by moving in-house IT functions to the cloud.”

Transflo DMS users can streamline business processes, store, index, organize, search, retrieve, route, and share electronic documents online, he says.

Integration is available with Pegasus TransTech’s many scan capture products, including Transflo Express truck stop scanning, Transflo Now! Anywhere scanning, and Transflo Mobile at no added cost. Transflo DMS integrates with existing third-party solutions including accounting programs, dispatch systems, mobile communication devices, and maintenance management software, among others.

Carriers can get low-cost add-ons such as Automated Express Indexing, Index Validation, and the business automation tool Transflo Workflow, which enables a company to map, manage, and automate virtually any business process.

Transflo DMS can gather, merge, and auto-generate documents for electronic invoicing and settlements. It also provides reporting tools.
