Pennzoil Long-Life Extended Warranty Gear Oils reportedly have completed all of the requirements for the Dana Commercial Vehicle Axle Division SHAES256 “Specification for Approval of Drive Axle Lubricants for the Dana Extended Warranty with Extended Initial Drain Interval.”
As such, they are among a limited number of approved lubricants for addition to the list of Roadranger lubricants for warranty coverage of 750,000 miles. Mineral-based Pennzoil lubricants may be used as the initial fill for an extended drain interval of 500,000 miles, and as the service fill with a drain interval of 250,000 miles – the same as for synthetic-based lubricants on the approval list.
