Making the milestone announcement at the National Private Truck Council’s (NPTC) National Education Conference and Exhibition in Cincinnati, Ohio, PeopleNet President Brian McLaughlin said, “We’re grateful to our customers for attesting to our 20-year reputation for innovation and service — a reputation that no other provider in this industry can match. With nearly 250,000 units and over 2,000 customers, PeopleNet’s open platform, McLaughlin said the company is poised to grab a healthy share of demand that he anticipates growing dramatically over the next five years from regulatory initiatives, high-growth transportation segments, and continued vertical market expansion. He says the company will choose specific segments like it did last year in the energy services sector and add new product lines for becoming a more complete fleet mobility provider, as it did with its trailer tracking and portable Tablet product lines in recent years.
