PeopleNet, a provider of Internet-based and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems for effective fleet management, announced that it will move its U.S. and corporate headquarters to Minnetonka, Minn. PeopleNet Canada will continue to be headquartered in Burlington, Ontario.

The company has signed a 10-year 50,731-square-foot lease and plans to take occupancy Sept. 1. The newly renovated building at Interstate 494 and Highway 7 is almost double the size of PeopleNet’s current home, and will house 140 employees who will have access to all campus amenities, including walking paths, a full-service cafeteria, large training rooms, underground parking and fitness and shower facilities.

“With over 80,000 subscribers and over 100 new fleets signed last year, PeopleNet is financially strong and continues to grow as we celebrate our 15th anniversary,” says Ron Konezny, chief executive officer and founder. “There is strong demand by all fleet types as they look for more advanced tools to help them operate at top efficiency.”
