The ELD will be available June 1.

A one-time $500 charge provides a complete kit with a tablet, wiring and other installation equipment. The monthly service fee is $39.99, and a $10 navigation option is available.

“Our solution will come with a LTE coverage with no roaming charges. through AT&T,” Hunphrey says.

Dan Marti, national sales manager of Freight Rover, who is working with Quality Companies on the project, says there is a current beta testing of 500 drivers being done.

“Drivers select the freight they want, carriers post all the loads that they have available and the two work together,” Marti says.

“We have seen great feedback from drivers. It is very driver-focused. Carriers can message drivers through the portal. The driver can upload check calls notifying all parties and on the back end, there is full imaging of all shipments.

“Everything is fully integrated into the app.”
