Roush earns CARB OK for propane autogas 2010 Ford E-Series retrofits

Roush CleanTech on Tuesday, July 10, announced it has received California Air Resources Board approval of its propane autogas fuel system for retrofitting 2010 model year 5.4-liter Ford E-150, E-250 and E-350 cargo vans and wagons.

“We are excited to offer our customers in California another option for adopting clean, economical propane autogas into their fleets without having to purchase a brand new chassis,” says Todd Mouw, vice president of sales and marketing for Roush CleanTech. “This certification demonstrates Roush CleanTech’s continued investment to help meet the needs of fleet managers.”

With 2010 model year certification in-hand, Roush CleanTech is now pursuing similar retrofit certification for 2009, 2011 and 2012 model years of the same Ford E-series vans and wagons, as well as E-450 cutaway vehicle platforms.
