Schneider National ‘three-peats’ Kohl’s customer service award

Schneider National announced Wednesday, June 11, that it recently was honored by Kohl’s Department Stores with its 2007 Customer Service Team of the Year award. This marks the third consecutive year Schneider has received this award, which recognizes outstanding service performance by a transportation carrier.

Kohl’s chose Schneider National for the award based on five performance metrics: accuracy in appointment arrival/departure times, electronic billing accuracy, load acceptance performance, transit compliance and pick-up performance. The award was presented during Kohl’s annual Carrier Summit in Milwaukee – an event attended by Kohl’s top 25 carriers.

“Leading retailers like Kohl’s need dedicated, responsive truckload carriers to be successful in today’s competitive retail environment,” says Steve Matheys, executive vice president of sales, marketing and customer service for Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider National. “Schneider is proud to deliver service excellence and applauds our office and driver associates for once again exceeding this customer’s expectations.”

Kohl’s began recognizing carriers with the Customer Service Team of the Year award in 2004. Schneider National provides truckload, dedicated, transloading and intermodal solutions to Kohl’s.
