PeopleNet and TMW Systems announced that Robert Herjavec, star of the ABC hit show Shark Tank and founder of the Herjavec Group, will speak at the second annual in.sight user conference + expo, which will be held in Nashville from Sunday, August 13 through Wednesday, August 16.

PeopleNet and TMW are Trimble Companies and part of its international Transportation and Logistics Division.

“The in.sight user conference + expo is about providing attendees with more than three days of engaging educational opportunities,” said Dave Wangler, president of TMW Systems. “As both a dynamic television personality and successful entrepreneur, Robert will contribute to these efforts by sharing key principles to get ahead both on the job and in life.”

Born in Eastern Europe, Herjavec arrived to North America on a boat with his parents after escaping Communism in the former Yugoslavia. Robert has built and sold several IT companies to major players such as AT&T. In 2003, he founded Herjavec Group and it quickly became one of North America’s fastest growing technology companies.

Today, Herjavec Group is recognized as a global leader in information security specializing in managed security services, compliance, incident response and remediation efforts for enterprise-level organizations.

“Staying ahead in a rapidly-evolving technology landscape is a challenge for any transportation company, regardless of size or business type,” said Brian McLaughlin, president of PeopleNet. “We hope attendees leave in.sight inspired by Robert’s message and eager to take all of the content from the conference and use it to improve efficiencies in their organizations.”

The in.sight user conference + expo, hosted jointly by PeopleNet and TMW, will feature more than 350 educational sessions, technology exhibits from dozens of solutions providers and several networking events. Registration is now open, with early bird rates ending on May 19.
