Summit Body & Equipment, Inc. has completed the 10,000th van in the company’s history. The van was installed on a new Isuzu NPR-HD chassis.

“Today marks another historic moment in Summit’s recent history,” says Summit President Ted Croce. “We’ve completed a transition to a 100 percent employee-owned company and produced more vans in 2015 than in any other calendar year in over a decade.”

Summit was founded in 1978 as a trailer sales and repair company and evolved to a van body manufacturing business in 1995. Today, Summit manufactures and up-fits a variety of products designed for the light and medium-duty truck market.
