FedEx_GroundUpdate, 1/22: FedEx Freight also announced that workers at its Parkersburg, West Virginia, terminal also rejected Teamsters affiliation, in addition to the election results below. Here is the original story, published Jan. 21:

The Teamsters union suffered another setback last week in its campaign to organize FedEx Freight (No. 2 in the CCJ Top 250) workers, losing an election at the carrier’s Charleston, West Virginia, terminal.

The union also withdrew an election at the company’s Clarksburg, West Virginia, terminal — a move FedEx says it would only take if it “recognized it would lose,” according to FedEx’s announcement.

The Teamsters have now lost or withdrawn petitions for elections at the last seven FedEx locations it has pursued.

The union has also taken aim in recent months at Con-way (No. 5 in the CCJ Top 250). In votes held at Con-way facilities, fourth have turned down Teamsters affiliation, while three others have voted to join.
