Not a banner year
For most of the trucking industry, perhaps the best that can be said about 2001 is that it’s over. For the first time in nearly two decades, the 100 largest trucking companies in terms of revenue reported lower revenues than in the year before. Even so, 2001 is hardly one of the worst years for Commercial Carrier Journal’s Top 100
