TMW Systems hires Tarbet to lead TMW.Suite development

Timothy B. Tarbet, a global IT executive with more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software development, has been appointed vice president of development by TMW Systems. Tarbet will work with software leaders and developers across the TMW enterprise, with specific responsibility for guiding development of the company’s advanced TMW.Suite transportation management system (TMS). He will report to TMW Executive Vice President of Technology Timothy Leonard.

Tarbet joins TMW following a 20-plus year career with Parker Hannifin Corporation, the Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based supplier of motion and control technologies for aerospace, climate control, electromechanical, filtration and other applications. He served most recently as that company’s vice president of information technology and was a member of the executive leadership team with functional responsibility for global IT strategy development, alignment and execution.

Tarbet received a master of business administration degree from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and a bachelor of business administration degree in information technology from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.

“Tim is an extraordinarily skilled leader who specializes in leveraging multi-discipline collaboration to achieve visionary goals,” said TMW’s Leonard. “His talents are well aligned with our own vision for transforming the way freight moves through the global supply chain. His leadership of our TMW.Suite development activities and other projects will help us continue to increase the value we provide to transportation businesses of all types and sizes.”
