TravelCenters to offer Michelin X One tires

TravelCenters of America, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded travel centers, announced on Thursday, Aug. 23, that it will begin offering Michelin X One wide-base tires by the end of September.

The 445/50R22.5 X One XDA ENRG LRL, 445/50R22.5 X One XDN2 LRL, 445/50R22.5 X One XTA LRL and 455/55R22.5 X One XTE TL LRL tires will be available and serviced at all TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube truck service facilities within the TA and Petro network. RoadSquad 24/7/365 emergency roadside service trucks within the network also will carry the X One tires.

“We are pleased to have entered this agreement with Michelin and to be able to offer our fleet and owner-operator customers the widest available variety of tire replacement choices,” said Tom O’Brien, president and chief executive officer of TravelCenters. “Drivers will have the fuel and weight-savings benefit of the X One whether they are in the bay at our shops or require emergency roadside service provided by our RoadSquad emergency service network.”

TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube facilities offer a combined 1,000 service bays and are staffed by 3,000 Tire Industry Association-certified technicians. RoadSquad provides a 24/7/365 emergency roadside service with 450 service trucks located at TA and Petro Stopping Centers sites.
