After a nearly 4,000-mile, three-week journey from the Payette National Forest in Idaho, the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree arrived and was unloaded in Washington, D.C., Monday.

Trucker Gary Amoth, owner of the 120-truck Gary Amoth Trucking in Twin Falls, Idaho, transported the 80-foot Englemann spruce in his specially-decaled Kenworth T680 from Idaho to the Capitol. The tree’s tour included 27 stops between Idaho and D.C.
