The American Trucking Associations earlier this week announced it is donating $100,000 to the Trucking Moves America Forward campaign. TMAF has a fundraising campaign aimed at raising $1 million by year’s end, and ATA’s donation puts it at $700,000.

TMAF was launched in March and is a campaign aimed at bettering the industry’s image both internally and externally and informing policy makers, motorists and the public about the industry and its benefits in the economy.

TMAF also this week announced it is introducing a campaign next week at the Great American Trucking Show called “High 5 and Show Your Pride,” i which it encourages show attendees to donate $5 to TMAF, along with urging those who work in trucking to sign a pledge to show their dedication to trucking.
