Spireon Inc., a provider of mobile resource management and trailer-tracking solutions, announced Tutle & Tutle Trucking has selected its FleetLocate Trailer Tracking solution designed to allow fleets to capture and leverage business intelligence to save costs, improve customer service and make faster, more profitable business decisions.

FleetLocate’s real-time trailer visibility is designed to enable fleets to see which trailers are underutilized and helps identify where there’s a need for more trailers. FleetLocate’s data also facilitates reduction of overall trailer count while maintaining the same amount of workload.

Tutle & Tutle Trucking operates 11 terminals in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Colorado. They currently operate a mix of pneumatic sand, lime and cement trailers, tankers, flatbeds and belly dump trailers.

“The ability for operations personnel to see their trailers at all times is one of the big reasons we decided to invest in trailer tracking,” said Brian Gannon, project manager, Tutle & Tutle Trucking. “Knowing that FleetLocate could integrate its rich data into McLeod’s LoadMaster dispatch system was just one more added benefit for us. In the end, we chose FleetLocate because of their smart people, real-time trailer location reporting, trailer mileage and their rechargeable battery.”
