Vnomics Corp. announced that the electronic Hours of Service application for its on-board fleet management platform has been updated to reflect the recent suspension of enforcement of the 34-hour re-start provisions on Dec. 16, 2014.

“Vnomics open architecture and modular approach to development enables Vnomics to respond to changing regulations and customer requests in an efficient manner. With over-the-air updates, the change is seamless to our customers – especially the drivers,“  said Lloyd Palum, vice president of engineering.

The company’s platform also offers a real-time approach to fleet management to improve fuel efficiency, DOT compliance and vehicle performance.  The patented technology calculates fuel economy potential and coaches drivers to improve. Fleet managers and maintenance personnel can access key operational and vehicle information, including diagnostic data, real-time on Vnomics FleetViewer web portal.
