Hartt truckWreaths Across America is making a last-minute push to secure the trucks it needs to haul wreaths nationwide to cemeteries around the country as part of its annual wreath laying ceremonies, intended to memorialize fallen veterans.

TCA, a sponsor of Wreaths Across America, said WAA has about 70 percent of its loads covered, but it’s looking for owner-operators or fleets to participate to help it cover the rest.

On its truckloadofrespect.com website, WAA has routes that can be selected. Companies can also donate money to “sponsor a load” to help cover expenses of a owner-operator so they can participate without losing revenue.

WAA says its partnership with the trucking industry makes the program possible. It lays thousands of wreaths nationwide — including thousands at Arlington National Cemetery — to honor military veterans who died in service to the U.S.
