Xata Turnpike certified for 8 more tablets, smartphones

Xata announced on Tuesday, May 8, at CTIA Wireless Association conference in New Orleans that it has added eight new technologically advanced tablets and smartphones certified to work with the Xata Turnpike fleet management solution.

The eight new devices include the Acer Iconia a500 tablet, ZTE Optik tablet, Huawei MediaPad 7 tablet, Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet, Pantech Element tablet, Kyocera DuraPlus smartphone and Motorola Droid X2 smartphone.

Christian Schenk, Xata’s vice president of market development and product marketing, says more than 85 devices now are certified to run Xata Turnpike.
