Ever-tightening environmental regulations, high fuel prices and continuing pressure to improve productivity amid a shifting supply chain will force even greater changes to equipment over the next 10 years. How truck, trailer and engine makers will deal with those realities will be discussed during the Super Session panel, “Tomorrow’s Trucks and Trailers,” held Thursday, Aug. 26, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Dallas Convention Center.
Moderated by Jack Roberts, executive editor of CCJ, Overdrive and Truckers News magazines, the panel will feature:
• Jeff Jones, vice president of sales and marketing for Cummins Inc.;
• Ben Smith, manager of product strategy for Freightliner Trucks; and
• Craig Bennett, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Utility Trailer.
Each panelist will present an overview of his perspective on how equipment will evolve over the next decade, followed by moderated discussion, including questions from the audience.
