Dennis Hilton, safety director at CalArk International, has been named Arkansas 2011 Safety Professional of the Year by The Arkansas Trucking Association.
“The traits that I admire the most about Dennis are his willingness to accept any challenge and the cooperative manner in which he works with others,” said Rochelle Bartholomew, president of Little Rock, Ark.-based CalArk. “He always has a positive attitude and wants to strive to be better tomorrow than we are today.”
Hilton also is an active member of the Arkansas Trucking Association Safety Management Council, where he has held officer positions, including serving as chairman in 2010. He was also named Arkansas Trucking Association Safety Director of the Year in 2006 and is involved with the Truck Driving Championship. He holds memberships with the American Trucking Association and Truckload Carriers Association.
