Con-way Truckload hires new regional sales managers

Con-way Truckload, a full-truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc., today announced that Jeff Pfeifer and Paul Stefaniuk have joined the company as regional sales managers. In the position, Pfeifer will be responsible for growing the company’s customer base in the Pacific Northwest, while Stefaniuk will focus on developing new business engagements in Western New York, Quebec and Ontario.

Pfeifer joins Con-way Truckload from Pacific Foods of Oregon where he served as director of supply chain. There, he managed activities ranging from distribution and purchasing to transportation and production scheduling. Previously, he spent six years as supply chain manager for Xerox Corporation – Office Group, where he was responsible for warehousing, transportation and operations for all North American distribution centers.

Prior to Xerox Corporation, Pfeifer’s sales and business development career spanned seven years covering the Pacific Northwest at Swift Corporation, U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. and Werner Enterprises.

Stefaniuk brings 18 years of sales and marketing expertise in transportation and logistics to Con-way Truckload, serving most recently as the manager of business development for Bison Transport. At the company, he was responsible for managing and developing new truckload, intermodal, reefer and multi-faceted supply chain client opportunities throughout Canada and in the United States. Previously, he was a corporate business development executive at TransX Group of Companies, one of the largest privately owned transportation companies in Canada. Prior to TransX, Stefaniuk held high-level sales and marketing positions at Armstrong International Movers and Allied International. He began his career at City Publications, an advertising business he co-founded in 1990.
