MacroPoint announced that Des Moines Truck Brokers has signed a two-year agreement to use its load tracking platform.
“We looked at several load tracking options, and MacroPoint was the best choice,” said Jimmy DeMatteis, president and CEO of Des Moines Truck Brokers. “Their flexibility allows using either in-cab devices or drivers’ phones, which improves our ability to contact carrier partners so we can enable a higher level of customer satisfaction. Our customers are looking for real-time load status information in general, but the Food Safety Modernization Act has made it a necessity in our primary business of brokering loads of food grade products.”
“We expect to track as many as 12,000 loads each year with MacroPoint because it is a tool that tells our customers we are dedicated to using technology to provide first-class service,” he continued.
