The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, as part of its national ELD education tour, will host a two-day event at the Davis Travel Center off of Interstate 95 in Stony Creek, Virginia.

The ELD Implementation National Tour event will provide ELD transition information to truckers in attendance and coincides with the truck stop’s “Driver Appreciation Days” on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 10-11. The travel center is located at 13306 St. Johns Church Rd. in Stony Creek at exit 33 off of I-95.

The agency will have “subject matter experts” on hand both days to discuss ELDs and answer questions from drivers. A driver-focused ELD presentation will also be held both days from 12:30-1:30 p.m. For those unable to be in attendance at the truck stop, the Oct. 11 presentation will be streamed live online.

The tour will also make stops at the California Trucking Show in Ontario, Calif., on Oct. 14-15; the ATA’s Management Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Fla., on Oct. 21-24; and the Women in Trucking Accelerate Conference and Expo in Kansas City on Nov. 6-8.
