Jost’s simple mechanism allows infinite adjustments versus notched adjustments. Wear adjustment is maintained with a single adjustment screw. Maintenance and minor rebuilds can be performed without removing the fifth wheel from the chassis.
The fifth wheel has a low 60-pound pull force handle, making operation easier for drivers and Jost offers a five-year warranty on all of its durable cast ductile iron topplates.
